Getting Closer...

I've got everything in place. The classroom library needs to be set up. The filing cabinet needs to be sorted through and a couple of cabinets need to be organized. Oh - and I need to decorate!

My Classroom Before...

This is what my classroom looks like right now! Who wants to come help me put it together? Oh, come on! :)

Why does it look so thrown together? Well, I moved to a new classroom this year. For the past three years, I have been a special education teacher. My first and second year as a teacher, I taught in a closet... no, really. I moved to a slightly larger classroom during my third year of teaching. Next year, I will be in a HUGE room... well a lot bigger than what I am use to. It will be my first year as a general education teacher. I can not wait to START the new year! The teacher that was there left most of her things... BLESS HER HEART! Now I have a TON of stuff to sort through. I'll be working on setting it up ALL next month! I am up for any suggestions!
